Sawyer is officially three weeks old today! Brent and I are more in love than ever with our amazing boy!

The last touch to our nursery is complete. We have a picture of our birthmother and her son. We want Sawyer to always know that his birthmother Krista gave us this amazing gift so we could become a family.

I had a great first day as a stay at home dad. I got this until i go back to work June 1st.

I love my boys so much!! What an amazing family I have.

We are home safe and sound. Sawyer is in his nursery. It feels so great to be home. Thank you again for all the amazing support. Our journey as Real Modern Dads has just begun.

We are heading home with our baby boy! What a perfect day!!!

Brent and I just had a great lunch with Krista and her family. We are so excited to have this amazing new extended family. This journey has been such a positive experience for us. Open adoption is always what Brent and I wanted and each day we spend with our little man we know we made the right choice. Please share our story to promote a positive experience with adoption.

Brent and I grow more and more in love with this little man everyday. We can't believe that our dream of becoming Dads is finally a reality. It has been a tough road but we know that choosing adoption was the best choice for our family. We have a new extended family now with our birthmother Krista and her son Ben. Brent and I feel very passionate about adoption so please share our story to show that open adoption can be a very positive option for anyone looking to start a family.

Words can't explain how happy we are. Every minute with spend with Sawyer has been the most amazing experiences of our life! We feel so lucky to call this little man our son. We also can not express enough how wonderful our birthmother Krista is. She was so perfect yesterday and we love her so much. Life is great!!!

Welcome Sawyer!

 Doug and I would like to introduce Sawyer.  He was born on 3/4/15 at 11:55am and weighed 7.13lbs and is 20 inches long. Doug and I are over the moon and absolutely in love with him.  We cannot be more thankful for our wonderful birth mother, Krista, for this gift.

We are so excited that in 6 days we are heading to Kentucky for the birth of our son. Life is so great!! We are happy happy happy!
